PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES - HIGH LEVEL USER REQUIREMENTS

A project working with users to develop high level user requirement documentation for a proposed Project Management System and for other existing systems. The project report also included options for the integration of multiple systems into a single system.

REVIEW OF AGENCY PLACEMENTS SYSTEM

A review project to identify the capacity for an information system in operation at multiple locations to collect and report data to satisfy changing departmental reporting requirements The review also required suggested strategies for modifications or redevelopment to ensure reporting requirements can be met.

SMART TRAINING PROJECT

A training consultancy which involved customizing an application to meet the information requirements of Family and Children's Services and, where necessary, agencies. Involved on-site training for over 70+ SAAP agencies across Western Australia.

DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A REGISTER OF OUT OF HOME AND PREVENTATIVE ALTERNATIVE CARERS

Project to create a Central Register of OHPAC carers across Government and Non-Government. Development and implementation of a data collection system across seven plus agencies and the melding of this data with Family and Children's Services carer data.

SPECIFICATION OF FOSTER CARE APPLICATION AND FOSTER CARE REGISTRATION EXTRACTS

Development of foster care application and foster care registration data extracts from the Client and Community Services System (CCSS) to facilitate ad hoc statistical analyses for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Extracts were from Oracle/Unix environment for analysis using Microsoft Access and other PC tools.

Specification and development of data collection mechanisms for non-government agencies providing out of home care services in Western Australia. Specifications to integrate this data with data collected by the Family and Children's Services Department to provide access to whole of sector data for planning, monitoring and evaluation. System concept, design and specification was provided to a sub-contracted Microsoft Access programmer. All testing, user documentation, user training and implementation was provided by Social Systems and Evaluation
